Okkle's "Neville" for the Droplet 2 Launch Show

Okkles sculpting abilities, clean lines and his penchant for cute make for some amazing customs.  He has a knack for transforming already cool toys into  mini masterpieces.    He says this about his latest piece.   "Neville the Crab's favourite film is Rambo and was done for "DROPLETS Series 2" launch show"  The show debuted yesterday, February 6th 2010, at Bristol's Fifty Fifty Gallery.

Jeremiah Ketner's "Sweet Dreams" and "Sakura Tiger"

Jeremiah Ketner's new paintings for the Year of the Tiger show at GR2

I have to say, every time Jeremiah posts a new painting I fall more and more in love with the colors the shapes and the freaking awesome characters he creates.  Each new painting is like a glimpse into the way he sees the world.  I don't know who wouldn't love to be in a world full of swirly shapes, pretty ladies and "small and round" creatures.  These new paintings are some of my favorites from him, the sleeping tiger in "Sweet Dreams" looks so mischievous holding that poor little guy down with his tail and the tiger in "Sakura Dreams" is so hauntingly beautiful .  Be sure to check out the show, it's sure to be awesome.

Squink's Latest Custom Chikka

Squink just posted his latest custom on his flickr.  "Chikka" is a custom Munny World Trikky,  I love the lightning bolt and leaf motif, and the cute frowny face, I'm a sucker for a frown.  I'm always impressed by Squink's super clean lines and adorable characters.

Lunabee's Droplet Custom Nightshade

Sarah Miskelly aka Lunabee just posted her newest custom for the Droplet 2 Launch Show on her flickr.  Lunabee's work is always so fun and has a great cute/creepy feel to it.  The first time I saw her customs, about a year ago, I fell in love with the way she did the drippy eyes and her use of colors. She's become one of my favorite toy artists.  I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

Uber Cute at Rivet Gallery

Tonight is the opening night for Rivet Gallery's newest show "Uber Cute".

The show runs from February 6th - 28th and features the art of Okkle, Daniel Elson, My Paper Crane-Heidi Kenney and Bukubuku.

The artists have turned out some super awesome new work for the show, and if you're in the area you should be sure to check it out!
